Anyhow after leaving Bogedal brewery I got a lift back to Vejle with a couple of customers and beer nerds and we went to Vejle Brewery in Vejle surprise surprise
Deja vu! I think I have written all this somewhere if so bare with me,
We had lunch there and tried a sample of their beers, I haven't got my notes to hand but while nothing that far off mainstream the beers where ok, the Brown Ale was quite good as was the classic stout and they also had an IPA
This brewery it seems, belongs to the Lego Brothers whose Lego Land I was informed is somewhere around this part of the world
I thought I did have some but I cant find any pictures of this place
While staying at Aarhus I went to the St Clemens brewery two doors down the road from my hotel
This was more a brewhouse as from what I could tell they didn't do beer in bottles or kegs though they did seem to do growlers
Again the beer was good and the place was very clean and shiny as all the brewing gear that could be seen was highly polished copper - a big job for somebody
They had a pilsner which was quit nice but this is not my favourite style, a nice weisbeer
Something called an Aggar Ale which was named after a Liverpool Soccer player who had something to do with the recipe a dark beer with a bit of chocolate and coffee, a saison which was quit nice, and a beer called Saga which was a one off brew for special event in connection with vikings
