WOOLPACK HOTEL

I went to the Woolpack Hotel in Parramatta the other day.
It was the first time I have been to this pub. I don't really know why it has taken me so long to get to it as I go to Parramatta quite often.
I think this place has had a make though I don't know when - it might have been several years ago
I just have the opinion that it has been a bit of a rough joint in its past. It may still be though it didnt look like from my visit really went there for lunch a quick one as I was there in the middle of the day and all I had to drink was a lemon squash. I had to keep track of my drinks as I was going to the Riverside Brewery later and I had to stay under the limit.
The meals are Thai food, the food was quite good and the price was reasonable. The pub was clean and was quite busy which might be normal for a Friday lunch time and it is close to the cities shops and offices.
My one negative observation is that it seemed to take quite a while for the meals to arrive which might have been a bother if you where on a limited lunch time.
