I went to a beef and beer workshop last Saturday which was part of the Sydney Food Festival. This was held at Mu Mu’s Grill of Crows Nest. The beef part was run by the owner/chef and the beer bit was run by the Beer Diva. The cooking side of things was a bit of a learning curve for me as I have never been to an event like this before and we ended up with a top lunch. It was the first time I had met up with the Beer Diva as well and I have been hoping to catch up with her so that was good.
I had a terrific time and enjoyed the whole event. The beers we had where a Murrays Pilsener a Hoegaarden and a Moo Brew Red Emperor. While I have come to like it more than I used to the Hoegaarden has never been my favourite wheat beer, I did like the other two very much. I hope to get to this restaurant again sometime and possibly inn the evening and sit at the bar hand have jamon and beer
