My daughter and I had a bit of a visit to the The Local Taphouse in Sydney last Saturday and had a drink of the following,
Hofbrau Munich Helles
Mountain Goat Spicy Ducks Nuts
Murrays Pumpkin Ale
Five Islands Shark Oil IPA
Duke Hefeweizen (Burleigh Brewing QLD)
Hargreaves Hill ESB
With the ESB being by far the best of the bunch - a really nice beer, The Ducks Nuts was a very interesting beer well worth a go but I am not sure it would be one I would buy unless for a special occasion, the same applies to the Murrays, Both the Five Islands and the Duke where not a bad drop.-
I still think they should move this place about 100k's west so that it would be easier for me to get too. I definately hope to be able to attend some of their do's but it may have to wait untill next year now.
