THE ASHES SERIES

About the 2/01/2011 I attended what was termed the Ashes series. This was an event run by the Micro Beer Club, which was held at the Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel, not a bad little hotel though maybe a little pretentious. This event was a play of f of selected Australian Beers and matched English beers, which was also matched with food.

Personally I thought that it might have been a tiny bit rigged Australia's way. I couldn't quite work out what system had been used ti pick matching English beers. Not to worry , it was a good night and o enjoyed it very much and met some interested and I suppose like minded people. I look forward to the next night that is held in Sydney. I have to say that I cant remember all the beers or the menu but if I find the paperwork I will add the details later.

I stayed at the Mariners Court whilst in town which is very handy to that part of the city.
